Outline of Spring Term

Here's a rough outline of what you need to do when, week by week. The outline for the spring term is available on mediamonkey.

19/1 Week Three – Coursework Catch up/ Shoot

Get storyboards complete/ get SHOOT SCHEDULES completed
Produce some materials for the invented film idea – including a TREATMENT and a PITCH


26/1 Week Four – Coursework Catch up/Shoot/Capture

ALL SHOOTS to be COMPLETE
Posters for invented film to be started – include teasers


1/2 Week Five – Coursework Catch up/Editing

All editing to begin – catch up any straggling shoots
Posters for invented film to be finished


8/2 Week Six – Coursework Catch up/Editing and initial Feedback

Get feedback from editing so far – advise pupils of/give initial teacher comments
Promotional Materials for film – badges, games, models

22/2 Week Seven – Coursework catch up/Editing

More editing

8/3 Week Nine – Coursework Catch Up/Screening/Evaluation/Final edits

Watching rough cuts – use THE BIG IDEA to evaluate films
Start work on tidying up on edits
Reminder to finish Promotional materials, essays and posters etc
LETTER TO PARENTS about forthcoming deadline

15/3 and 22/3 Weeks Ten to Eleven – Coursework Catch up/Final Edits - DEADLINE

29/3 Week twelve – WRITE UP to be completed by end of week

FOCUS on HOW to write up evaluation/reflection
Provide FRAMEWORK to help – use ICT all week

WORK MUST BE COMPLETED BY THE END OF TERM
FAILURE TO COMPLETE MAY RESULT IN WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COURSE
